Went to Fred Meyer since we wanted to make food at our airbnb. Got the sushi and it was fantabulous. Great layout and it had a good selection of souvenirs if you were just visiting for a vacation, like we were.
Don't go to Fred Meyer if you're in a hurry or only want one thing. When you're there I swear this place sucks the $$ right out of my wallet! Some good sales for Labor Day this weekend and I found some new curtains which I'd been wanting recently and I liked these and the deal was too good to pass up! ($30 down to $11.97 per panel) #score! When you shop here regularly and you enroll in their Rewards, they mail you good coupons monthly. This time they gave me a CPN for a free 8 pk of Bubly! Parking is always crazy even tho their lots are so big.. Just if you come here, realize it's hard to get outta here for just one Thing! Posting some pics from my Freddie's Haul.. happy shopping!
Usually it takes so long for someone to help when purchasing bigger items. This morning me and my husband were buying a vacuum and we asked for help. It took 15 minutes and still no one showed up. There was an employee, Lani, walking by and although she looked busy, she got us the vacuum in less than 3 minutes. Thank you Lani!
Fred Meyer in Palmer is the best. Nearly every time I go I am treated and asked if I have found everything ok.
Fred Meyers is one of my favorite places to shop. I’m particularly keen to the groceries. Although Fred Meyers is 3-4% more expensive than Walmart the quality of the groceries available is usually worth it.
Shopping at any Fred Meyer is great because literally everything can be found under one roof. The midtown location in Anchorage is especially convenient though as it is right on the Seward Highway making it an easy place to turn in and pick up last minute supplies or get gas when headed down the Inlet or the Peninsula. They have a Starbucks, Pharmacy, Jewelers and Electronics, Furniture and Garden Departments (just to name a few). Their prepared foods and sandwiches are delicious and the folks who work there will walk you directly to an item, no matter where it is in the store, if you ask. Extremely friendly and helpful staff members!
10/06/23- This store has a little of everything including souvenirs. If you can't find them you can count on one of the many and friendly employees. I was impressed on how everyone I asked for assistance helped without making me feel I was putting them out. I think the prices are reasonable for this area. I also found that they have Dunford donuts and Mexican bread. The bread here is cheaper than the bakery. If you need anything stop by here. I didn't take too many pictures. I did a FaceTime call to shop 😁
Very busy. I don't like that it is being rearranged because I can't find the things I normally get. And I like shopping to be short and easy. The staff is very nice and friendly helping me find the things I was looking for. And I like the savings when I buy things that are branded Kroger. I'm surprised how clean the store is since it looks very busy when I go in. I love how clean and organize the aisles are and hopefully it won't be changing anytime soon. What else stood out about my visit....? People. There are some bold and interesting human beings. But what do I care. People think I'm weird. 😂
